A labor of love for cats & community
Lora Reynolds, the founder and owner of Cups & Cats Café, is a cat lover fur sure. Felines have always held a special place in her heart.

Our Story
After visiting several cat cafés throughout the country, she thought "I think I'd like to do this", so, she did! After conducting her own research, receiving advice from mentors, and attending a meeting or two with the city, Cups & Cats broke ground.
Partnerships were formed between the Café and local cat rescues including: The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, Dream Away Cat Rescue (DACR), and the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Society to approve the Café for fostering adoptable cats. It is a pleasure and an honor to provide space for cats seeking loving homes.
Countless hours have been spent on the project, and it has been a labor of love. The Capitol City now has its very own cat café! Come and see us for a great cup of coffee (or tea!) and enjoy the cats. Hope to see mew soon!
The Vision
We at Cups & Cats are passionate about improving the lives of shelter animals and believe that cafés like ours are the future adoption model for shelter cats in the United States. We also strive to serve quality coffee, teas and specialty drinks along with tasty treats. We value the three C's: Coffee. Cats. Community.
The cats who inspired it all

Chloe
Chloe is my shy girl. I got her as a kitten, about 10 weeks old. She was posted online by someone who could not keep her or her kitten siblings. She was the only girl. I saw her little baby paws and said—those paws! Chloe is smart and beautiful! She loves treats, pets (not from strangers, sorry) and playing with toys. She was not a fan of Fifi when she first arrived, but now they are FINALLY friends. We are going on year five of our fur-riendship!

Fifi
Fifi Fluff is a puff of cattitude and love. Fifi was adopted from Almost Home Animal Sanctuary. She came home during a snow storm and to a strange place. You would never know mine was not her original home, she took over quickly. I don't have her full story, I only know she was around 6 when I got her and that when I saw her, I knew I would adore her. Fifi is playful and silly and a cuddle bug! She enjoys watching bird videos and chasing her sister, Chloe.

Mika
Miss Mika was my soul cat. My beautiful silver shaded girl. I adopted her from Nevins Farm, an animal shelter located in Methuen, MA. I will never forget the day I saw her there. I found the love of my life that day. Mika and I had 15 wonderful years together. She was my best friend. I miss her, every day.
